Mei Tais

Mei Tais are Asian-inspired carriers which consist of a rectangle of fabric, often patterned but reversible to show a plain side instead if preferred. There are short straps which tie around the waist and longer straps which go over the shoulders and tie around the baby/child.

Fairly quick and easy to tie. 

Requires a little practice to tie.

Can be used from newborn to toddler.

Not as easy to nurse in as a wrap.

Allow baby/toddler to be carried on the front, back or hip.

Weight isn't distributed as well as with a wrap or soft structured carrier.

One size fits all.
