Try Slings
If you're interested in trying a sling or baby carrier before you buy or borrowing a sling to take on holiday with you, our 'Try a sling' service may be ideal for you. Here's how it works:
1. You pay a hire charge of £6.00 - £10.00 for a hire period of two weeks and a postage charge of £2.50 - £4.00 depending on the carrier you choose. If you know that you only want to hire a sling (rather than try before you buy), why not choose one of our in-stock slings or carriers which are usually slightly cheaper. They will only have been hired out a maximum of four times as we sell our ex-hire slings after five loans.
2. You pay a returnable deposit of between £25.00 and £80.00, depending on the type of sling/baby carrier that you choose. We return this to you when we receive the sling or baby carrier, provided that it is undamaged and comes back with all packaging and instructions. You are responsible for the return postage costs and we recommend that you send the parcel back to us by recorded delivery.
3. If you decide to keep the sling you have or to buy another sling from us, we either send you out a free gift or we can offer you a discount on your purchase.
